Run 2 Rescue

For donors in the US, currently the IRS has classified crypto such as bitcoin and other digital assets as property for tax purposes. Thus, as with stocks and other property, when you donate crypto assets to Run 2 Rescue, you won't owe capital gains tax and the full value of your donation is tax deductible for you. If you would like a receipt and year end statement for your gift, please email us BEFORE you send any funds and include your name, address, which digital asset and how many coins you plan to donate to assets@run2rescue.com before you send any funds, so we know it was you. If you would prefer a custom address we can arrange that as well.

If you have another asset type not listed, Run 2 Rescue can also receive any digital assets listed on Coinbase, so if you already have a Coinbase account, you can simply use their app or website to send ANY crypto protocols they support directly to Run 2 Rescue simply by using "donate@run2rescue.com" in the send payment "To" field. Using this method will immediately transfer whatever asset you have on Coinbase and send it to Run 2 Rescue's Coinbase account. You will also immediately get a receipt of the transaction in your Coinbase acccount.
